最近我的兒子迷上一種線上遊戲-大富翁。一開始他其實不大會玩，主要是幼稚園的他看不大懂中文，所以總是邀我陪在旁邊，我對線上遊戲是實在沒什麼興趣，但是有時後看他不會玩，被其他的遊戲者欺負，我就會跳出來教他。一開始他玩沒多久，運氣非常的不好，小朋友總是因為受挫而生氣難過，我總是一在的安慰他，你再試一試，不要那麼快放棄！！一次兩次之後，他越來越有心得，常常反敗為勝。然後他總會告訴我：媽媽，是你說的不要放棄對不對？要堅持到最後！！你看我本來快破產，結果變成大富翁～～。然後他開始會在輸的時候，繼續堅持守住情況，在機會來時往前衝刺，即使戰到最後歃羽而歸，也知道自己奮戰過！然後瞭解，只要你有努力，即使最後是失敗的，就不會有很多遺憾。

昨天在教學網看到Sophia學姐的一段文字，其中有這樣的一首英文詩，這首詩非常的激發人心。我也轉貼跟大家分享！

Don't Quit (不要放棄)

When thing go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit -
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Lift is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a person turns about
When they might have won had they stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
